CHILDREN OF ATOM
Drawing from elements of blues, funk and early metal, Children of Atom claim they don’t quite sound like anybody else. This is something we hear a lot….HOWEVER on this occasion I completely agree! We checked out their track Pareidolia.
The bass riff at the start of the track blows you away and leads into the fuzz heavy tone that remains throughout the song. The impetuous energy and catchy melodies demonstrate that Children of Atom are masters of their craft.
The driving beat and the catchy guitar riffs give the song an unstoppable dynamic that immediately sweeps you away.
Children of Atom impressively demonstrate how you can experiment within a genre and at the same time stay true to your own sound. This has enabled them to open up for a diverse array of acts such as Anthrax, Red Fang, Rings of Saturn and Green Jello.
The vocals on this track really deserve some credit too. They fir perfectly with the style of the music and create an intense, exciting atmosphere. I feel like these guys will be a hit with finds of many genres.
