Gnawing Hunger are a 5-piece metal band from Birmingham, England. They came together during the tough times of lockdown 2021 coming from other established local bands. They bring some explosive guitar riffs backed up by pounding drumbeats, you’re in for a treat!
Gnawing Hunger kindly sent us their brand-new single “Insidious” which released today. If you haven’t already you need to listen to it because it is a banger. If you like bands like Heart of a Coward you will love this.
The riffs immediately stand out with their punch followed by the melodic assault that goes on and on through the song. The vocals are great, their extremely clear and with emotion dripping from every word.
We also listened to a previous released single in “The Great Illusion” and just like “Insidious” it is incredible. The boys bring some incredible groove filled sequences in the song that will have your head banging, the drums throughout the song pound and pound unrelentingly. It is a sonic assault that give you a chance to breath before coming back for more.
