ASK ANDY

‘ASK ANDY’ formerly a punk/metal band from Tampa FL. Now residing in NJ. They have an album ‘It’ll all come out in the end’ and an EP on all streaming sites. They just released a new single, more of an alternative rocker titled "Rainy Day". Their next release coming soon is a groove metal song titled, "The Path".

SIMPLICITY DONE VERY WELL

We listened to their new single ‘Rainy Day’ first.

This track has a great bass line and teamed with the guitar, this starts the song off really well. A chord progression follows which almost has an element of country rock, bringing a feeling of emotion.

It’s a great vocal performance, the melody is very catchy and memorable. Nothing too technical here but it’s simplicity done very well.

CATCHY AND MEMORABLE

We also had a listen to some of the tracks from their album ‘it’ll all comes out in the end’. These tracks definitely have the punk/metal style as stated by the band.

A standout part of this album are the bass lines and also the quality of the recording. Everything is very crisp and the bass is not overpowered by the guitars which is refreshing.

OUR CONCLUSION:

Really enjoyed the new single from ‘ASK ANDY, the lighter alternative rock style seems to fit better with the style of the singer and the bass on here is outstanding.
