SELIAS
‘SELIAS’ hailing from Toronto, Canada combine elements of death metal, heavy metal, and metalcore. Their album ‘HEADSHOT’ is due for release on July 5th.
We checked out two of the tracks ‘TWISTED PATH’ and the title track ‘HEADSHOT’
A MONSTROUS ATTACK
‘TWISTED PATH’ starts of off with a ferocious assault of heavy riffs and monstrous vocals that set the tone for the rest of the track. Built on a solid foundation of powerful drums and dynamic guitar parts, the band unfolds its musical potential.
In some parts the vocals overshadow the cleaner background singing and it feels like too much is going on at once. The official music video on YouTube really brings the music to life and the creepy characters leave us feeling uneasy.
CAPTIVATING, HAUNTING, AGGRESIVE
SELIAS state that "HEADSHOT" is not just an album; it’s a journey through the depths of the human psyche, with each track offering a glimpse into past situations or stories from distant worlds. From blistering riffs to haunting vocals, SELIAS captivates listeners with their ability to blend aggression and melody seamlessly.
We listened to the title track and it hits us hard again.
These would be great listen for fans of bands such as slipknot or Killswitch engage.

OUR CONCLUSION:
SELIAS have come out swinging with these tracks. Captivating, haunting and aggressive. A really impressive couple of tracks.
