BORN ON HIGH

Born on High, are a four piece born and raised on Long Island NY in the metal and hard-core scene.  The band was formed in 2017. Mike Melo - guitars, Lallichops- drums, Joe Mac - bass, Scott Trollen - Vox/samples. 

Combined they have over 100 years of experience being in a band and playing out.  They have been playing since the 90's with the same metal influences from that era.

Today we checked out their track Devil.

90’S FEELS

The track kicks off with vengeance, the vocals are aggressive but still keep a melodic element. The guitar riff has an almost grunge punk feel to it.

The lyrics are quite dark talking about the devil inside and looking into your mind as it suffers.

The chorus is incredibly catchy and I feel like this would be a big hit with the fans played live.

Musically, the song remains true to the roots of the band. A simple but driving beat, minimalist guitar riffs and the unmistakable speech singing create an atmosphere that is catchy and subversive at the same time.

A real treat for lovers of hard sounds and an impressive statement of the skills of these talented artists.
