Dusk are a thrash metal band from Algeria. Their sound is a fusion of hard hitting riffs with very emotive provoking music which am sure you’ll all enjoy. We got stuck in with their debut EP “The New Land” which is available on all platforms.

 

Starting off the album we have “THE FALL” which is an unrelenting assault of aggression a great way to kick off the album. It has a great riff throughout the track with some pounding drums working so well together finished off with screamed vocals which you can understand perfectly well. A great start.

 

Following up The Fall would be a tall order but we have “Insane” which is (i’m sorry for doing this) insanely good! The vocals continue to be easily understood with a chorus with some clean vocals, the bridge riff is a standout with the track being another sonic assault.

 

We had to highlight this track “Behind My Shadow” it’s a lot slower then the previous tracks with a great bass riff opening up and flowing in the verses with some excellent clean vocals again, the band clearly has a great range and they show it so well on this EP.

 

Every track on this EP is a banger, we narrowed it down for our post, but my favourite is definitely “Behind My Shadow” be sure to give them a follow on all their social pages and check them out on Spotify you won’t regret it.
