Kella Sin
Hailing from San Francisco, CA, heavy metal artist Kella Sin has burst onto the scene as one of the most diverse in the genre, influenced by everything from metalcore, nü metal, and trap to modern alternative pop. Follow up mixtape Zero (2020) bonded him as one of metals rising stars to watch. AN IMAGE YOU WON’T FORGET
We first decided to listen check out their official music video for track ‘That New Sound’.
The track is built on a solid foundation of bass and drop tuned guitar.
No complicated lyrics here, just a creepy vibe as the vocals merge with scary sound effects to create an atmosphere that keeps you feeling on edge. Their image adds to the unease. Filmed in what looks like an abandoned warehouse, you could mistake it as a scene from a horror movie like SAW.
NU METAL ELETRONIC RAP METALCORE!
We then checked out a more recent upload, their track ‘Shift’. This one definitley has more of a nu metal/metalcore feel.
What distinguishes Kella Sin is the combinations of different music genres that blend very well together.
With a unique sound, Kella sin promises to keep delivering unforgettable music.
OUR RATING:
🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑
Rating: 4.0 out of 5.
OUR CONCLUSION:
Kella Sin are already an established act but their latest track suggests a change in sound that may appeal to a wider audience. We could see them supporting the likes of ‘Bring me the horizon’.
