Lost to Light

Lost to Light are a 6 piece Melodic Metalcore band from Derby, United Kingdom. Although a band in it’s infancy, their members have been parts of some heavy hitters from Uk Metal scene including The Cartographer and Laguna Sunrise. They have one single previously released in “Narcissist” with their latest track “Redeemer” what we’re discussing today

Straight into the song you can hear the melodic onslaught begin with a great intro riff straight into a more brutal beatdown from the sextet. What’s very unique of the band set up is the dual vocalists almost singing in unison throughout the song which works great especially within the chorus sections of the track with both possessing a great clean voice to go with the harsh vocals.

Heed Our Warning, Hear Our Sorrow

To go along with the incredible riffs, you hear some incredibly moving and emotive lyrics touching on subjects that’ll be close to many listeners hearts with a great line “heed our warning, hear our sorrow”. The song fittingly all about redeeming oneself and finding that better self once you break the walls you may find in front of yourself.
