Right off the bat, you can tell they are 100% correct in their distinctive style, it feels like an amalgamation of classic British heavy metal, a small bit of power metal topped off with that industrial metal glaze. It is unique and well worth getting your teeth into. We jumped straight in with the two singles that have been released so far in “Nevermore” and “Trapped”. First up is “Nevermore” which immediately sets itself up with an incredible bass line that seamlessly flows through the track. It’s not just the bass that stands out with the track, the composition is layered incredibly well which makes this a standout song.
“I am trapped behind my eyes”
Next up we have “Trapped”. This starts a little differently with a great brooding intro giving an ominous feel to it before the band begins. Again, the bass in this song exceptional and continues in the same manner as “Nevermore”. We’re treated even further with the chorus being a great vocal showcase that is bound to make it a staple in many playlists.
