Introducing Truth of Heresy, a band forged from the flames of musical exploration. Originally known as GOREZEBO, they began their journey in 2023 as an alternative acoustic unit. Their quest for a distinct sound led them through a metamorphosis that ultimately embraced the groove metal genre.
Truth of Heresy thrives on heavy syncopated rhythms, soaring guitar solos, and deep bass lines, drawing influence from diverse genres including , pop punk, thrash, and classic heavy metal. Their music pays homage to icons like Pantera, Judas Priest, Alice in Chains, and Metallica while offering a contemporary twist.
THRASH GUITAR MASTERCLASS
Today we listened to their track ‘Black Metal Cowboys From Outer Space’
The track title itself fills us with intrigue!
The vocals are heavy and they pair perfectly with the thrashy guitar lines. The style of guitar is reminiscent of early Megadeth, the riffs stick in your head!
The song slows down in parts then you have a very well written guitar solo that builds towards the end of the track. The versatility of the band is displayed very clearly here, we think this will be a hit live.
BRUTAL BUT EMOTIONAL
The stand out feature of this track is the raw emotion you can feel with every note played. The blasting drums are a great accompaniment to the rest of the band and I feel like TOH have created a rather unique sound. We are all impressed.
