From the smoldering embers of a past era rises Witness, a melodic hardcore force hailing from the heart of Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The band are fronted by Henderson’s impassioned vocals, which include an array of many different vocal styles to match the emotion portrayed in the tracks. From spoken word, to harsh vocals, Tony finds the perfect balance for any given instrumental sound.
Witness are propelled by Greig’s searing guitar riffs and clean vocals. Kieran will take you on an emotional ride, stopping at soothing melodic sections, as well as hard hitting, emphatic verses. Kieran’s clean vocals break through the harshness with a style that is gritty and true to the sound of Witness.
Douglas cuts through the mix with blistering double-kick patterns and intrinsic fills. Jordan portrays the raw emotion the band is about in a cathartic and enchanting manner.
Closs provides the rhythmic backbone, with bass lines that underpin the emotion of the story Witness are telling. With enough clank that even ratchet would be jealous, Jacob’s tone fits perfectly in the ensemble that is Witness.
Witness forges a sound that is both ferocious and melodic, captivating audiences with every thunderous beat and haunting chord.

FULL OF RAW EMOTION
Witness prove that metalcore can do it all: emotional, technical, melodic and inspiring. With thrashy riffs, technical drums, catchy melodies and brute vocals, they deliver everything a metalcore act needs.
The drums are thunderous throughout this track, the whole band comes together to create something really impactful.
The range of the vocals displayed throughout ‘Dark Skies’ show off Henderson’s versatility.

‘Witness’ offer a darkly energetic spectacle that not only convinces with the technical skills of the Scottish natives but also captivates with a sound that’s fresh, brutal and melodic.
The lasting impression that we’re left with is that ‘Witness’ are a band who have the ability to portray songs with such raw emotion, you can feel the passion in the music.
