Ash To Dust.

Ash to Dust is a thrash metal band hailing from Arizona, USA. Originally founded in 2007 but with some personal circumstances and multiple band line up changes they disbanded for a few years with a return occurring in 2019. During their time, they have opened for the likes of thrash heavyweights Testament and Sepultura.

We decided to dive in with their ep titled “Reaper of Souls” and as their top song it felt right to check out “Evil Takes Flight” first and what a song it is. Pounding drums throughout followed up with some excellent riffs that never relent you can easily see why it’s the top song. This track is an instrumental but it is an absolute banger.

Next up and in a strange order, we go to the first track on the Ep in “Consumed”. This track starts of with another sonic assault unrelenting through the song until we get a great melodic riff that slows the pace down leading into the second part of the track before the assault returns. Another great song!

Last track of our review (you’ll need to check them out yourselves to see the other songs they won’t disappoint) is “Circle of Death” and you may be able to guess what this track is about! This will be a great live song with a slower chorus with some incredible melodic parts throughout the song.
