Stars Catching Fire, hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, released their single Simulation in May. We had a listen.

EMOTION IS OVERPOWERING

The overwhelming theme of this track is the pure emotion that is emitted from the music, it is overpowering and makes you want to listen to more.

The lyrics are very deep “I’ve been living life on the edge The risks I’ve taken has pushed me to the ledge Pushing boundaries, makes me feel alive Now I question, have I been living a lie”.

I think for a lot of listeners, the track really will make you look back and contemplate on events that have happened through your life. This shows the brilliance that is Simulation.

The lyrics tell the story of someone looking back at their life and thinking ‘did that really happen!’

SO WELL WRITTEN

The track is so well written, you can see the versatility of the band at work, they have all come together to create something special.

The music video is a fantastic accompaniment to the track. It really helps to tell the story through the eyes of the lyric holder.

There’s some really powerful guitar riffs in this track. When you listen back you start to pick up on the little guitar licks and drum fills that add to the atmosphere.
