Ruinous Reign
Ruinous Reign are a 4 piece Thrash Death Metal Band hailing from Preston and Manchester. They’ve been on the local scene for a year and they have recorded their 4 track Debut EP, 'Eternal Void', which was released in April 2024.
We took a listen to their track Sum of all Evils.
POWERFUL, GRITTY, FEROCIOUS
This track kicks off at 100mph! Ruinous Reign are here to blow your face off!
The brutal vocals are paired perfectly with the thrash guitar riffs. The sound is very technical but it also has the raw simplicity of pure chugging guitar riffs and an almost galloping rhythm that is sure to get those heads banging live.
Around halfway through the track, the tempo slows and we get a real listen at the vocals, we can definitely hear some Dave Mustaine influence going on here.
MUSICALLY INTENSE
Ruinous Reign combine classic elements of thrash and death metal with new, innovative approaches. This clearly sets their music apart from other representatives of the genre and makes them stand out.
Sum Of All Evils is a musically intense piece. The guitar solo is also a stand out feature of this track. We are looking forward to listening to the rest of the EP.
