Bellicose are a 5 piece, hardcore band from New York, USA. Formed in 2023, the debut EP brings with it a range of influence from modern acts like Knocked Loose to classic staples such as Sick of it All and Bad Brains. Their debut EP “Modern Mammal” brings a wide range of lyrical themes within the 3 tracks that touch on emotional pain and the dehumanizing effects of technology on humanity.
BORN ON HIGH
Born on High, are a four piece born and raised on Long Island NY in the metal and hard-core scene. The band was formed in 2017. Mike Melo - guitars, Lallichops- drums, Joe Mac - bass, Scott Trollen - Vox/samples.
KENSEI
Kensei are a five piece Black Metal band hailing from the UK. Today we listened to their track “With Death I Walk”
The Dead List
The Dead list is a 5-piece Groove Metal band from the Staffordshire, UK. Formed in 2022, the band has been no stranger to the stages throughout the West Midlands and Staffordshire with a reputation for their incredible onslaught with pounding guitar riffs
Endolith
The whole track features some incredible musicianship and you can hear the wide range of influences throughout the song with the use of layered vocals and atmospheric sounds.

Bright Black are a 4 piece midlands UK based Hard Rock band. Combining heavy riffs with soaring melodies and pounding drums, the band look to expand on their brand of hard rock with every new release. Bright Black are, Talitha, Witt, Alex, Jace.
Lost to Light
Straight into the song you can hear the melodic onslaught begin with a great intro riff straight into a more brutal beatdown from the sextet. What’s very unique of the band set up is the dual vocalists almost singing in unison throughout the song which works great especially within the chorus sections of the track with both possessing a great clean voice to go with the harsh vocals.
Sun Mahshene
Continuing on you get this get catchy melodic riff through the chorus which perfectly compliments the song, really impressive song writing.
Gnawing Hunger
The boys bring some incredible groove filled sequences in the song that will have your head banging, the drums throughout the song pound and pound unrelentingly. It is a sonic assault that give you a chance to breath before coming back for more.
Worn Out
Worn Out are a 4 piece metallic hardcore band from Ireland with their Ep “Low” due out August 30th. Already in their short history, they’ve toured with the likes of hardcore legends Cro Mags and Unsane, they also received big praise from the likes of MetalSucks and GBHBL for their debut EP “Waste”. They’ve released a number of singles previously including the most recent one “Deeper” which will feature on “Low”. We’ve decided to dive in with their latest single.
Theftuous
The vocals are complimented excellently by the bass that pulses through the track with the fast-paced drum attack in the verses. Seriously an incredible track, straight into the headbangerhq playlist
